Our history
CREATION OF THE DIEZZ BRAND
It was in 1996 that Serge Benguigui (1965-2021), founder of the DIEZZ brand, settled with his family on the shores of Lake Annecy and created the DIEZZ brand.
In this exceptional environment, he embarked on the design of helmets and accessories for skiing.
The helmet and body protection market is no longer confined to the practice of ski racing but is becoming more democratic reaching a wider public who are keen to protect themselves better.
DIEZZ: THE SPECIALIST IN VISOR HELMETS AND PHOTOCHROMICS
In 2007, Serge developed the first visor helmet for skiing. Innovation in the heart of the Alps: here we are, specialists in helmets with visors!
The DIEZZ logo, a “hashtag” now used on all social networks, was already ahead of its time. DIEZZ is today the French brand which has only one objective: to offer the best compromise between design, quality and safety!
Our expertise in ski helmets, especially with integrated visor and photochromic, has enabled us to develop an ever more efficient range of goggles and body protection, once again intended for winter sports.
As a specialist in photochromics, the company has developed its ActivLux® Photochromic* screens (category 1-3), which are the best performing on the market.

2021 – 2AC (Anatomic Absorption Choc) technology 2AC material is soft, flexible and malleable. However, when subjected to a violent shock or impact, its molecules bind and stiffen within milliseconds, forming a rigid, resistant structure.
2022- Diezz Sport launches a complete range of Made in Italy urban cycling helmets with and without visors. This new range is part of the company’s diversification and development strategy. After the success of our ski helmets with integrated visors, we decided to extend our expertise to soft mobility in urban environments (bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc.), combining comfort, design and safety.
2023 – DIEZZ is the 1st brand to offer a ski helmet made in France. Since 2022, Diezz has been actively seeking partners to manufacture an innovative ski helmet mould incorporating a new technology called MDS (Multi Dissipation Shocks). This technology aims to dissipate the energy of shocks during a fall, thereby preventing concussion.

In 2023 – This new Mds (Multi Disssipation shocks) technology is at the cutting edge of innovation. We wanted to play as much on the materials, the macro design of the helmet, as on its internal structure. The helmet’s inner shell has been designed to allow better air circulation, and therefore better ventilation. And above all, its “multi-nipple” head architecture serves to soften the structure in the event of a fall, allowing it to dissipate energy. This innovation clearly helps to limit concussion in the event of an impact.
